What makes riding so challenging and endlessly alluring is that it requires a partnership, one that is trusting and rewarding.  Just as the most brilliant rider is nothing without a great horse, so the greatest horse cannot excel without and equally talented rider.  A bad rider will disturb the horse, a good one will not interfere with him; a very good one will help him.

The work is really incomplete if you just focus on the horse's performance.  There is a huge diference between how people learn about themselves and how they adjust their behavior when working with horses.  The horse is so honest and the desire to do right by the horse is so grand.

Some people are gifted with the natural ability to develop a partnership with their horse, to realize their dreams on their own.  For the rest of us, it is often not a lack of drive, ambition, or hard work that keeps us from realizing our dreams. Rather it can simply be a lack of clarity around the bigger picture, clear direction along the way, and an awareness of all that a horse and rider are capable of creating together.  We are surprised to see how very subtle changes, and small feelings of success will open doors.

We are inspired by each other, the great teachings of Buck Brannaman, the late Tom Dorrance and the late Ray Hunt, our horses and our clients.  We treat all that we do as an investment in ourselves, our clients and the betterment of mankind.

"Overall, I haven't been this joyful and excited about riding her (my mare) in a very long time and it just blesses my soul beyond words to see more change in her in 2 months than I have seen in all 3 years. This is what having good teachers is all about. I am so thankful for your time and friendship and feel for the first time since starting this journey with this training, that I have a teacher that believes in me with the little I know, and knows how to tell me how to get to the next step. So Thank You." - Heidi Wolschlag
