Our goals are:
- To educate you on the horse's perspective as well as the mechanics and discipline of finer horsemanship.
- To learn in a manner that is safe while challenging ourselves.
Our approach is:
- To provide you with individual and group arena and round pen exercises to help you better understand the horse and how to direct him.
- To provide you with real life situation using your developing skills through working cattle, trail riding and other challenges.
Clinics
Clinics are 2-5 days and formats vary depending on whether they are at the Ranch or away, and on size and desires of the group. All ages are welcome.
- Here on the ranch we use our arenas, round pens, cattle and acres of woods and fields to provide endless learning opportunities that are both challenging and fun. The cost is $175 per day and includes;
- six hours of instruction
- lunch & dinner
- a place to keep your horse
- Off the ranch costs vary depending on location and facilities. If you are interested in hosting a clinic we would appreciate the chance to talk with you.
Lessons
We offer both individual and group lessons. Group lessons are a great way to advance your horsemanship, learning from others and keeping the cost down. We offer lessons here at the ranch and away. Always a two hour minimum.
- On the Ranch we use our arenas, round pens, cattle and fields to provide opportunities to further your horsemanship skills.
- Individual - $75.00
- Group - $50.00 per person
- Off the Ranch lesson prices vary depending on duration and location. Please give us a call to schedule something to fit your needs.
Kids Horsemanship
Another passion of ours is to work with kids to help them develop a safe and enjoyable relationship with the horse. Our program teaches the basics of the horse from the ground up. Each child will learn from the horse as well as from each other. Awareness, boundaries, assertiveness, patience and courage are some of the skills each child will enhance. This program is five days long either three hours in the morning or three hours in the afternoon. The class size is currently limited to four students. The cost is $180 per student. Horses are provided. This program is intended to offer a positive horse experience for kids ages 8-16 who are novice or are looking to develop their horsemanship skills.
